ELYX

The Elyx range is the new Geographic Information System platform developed by STAR-APIC by converging our different GIS products.

Progressively, all STAR-APIC Group business solutions will be based on the Elyx platform.

Elyx is composed of a server that offers complete GIS functionalities (Elyx Kernel), a thick client (Elyx Office), a mobile offering (Elyx Mobile), and a thin client (Elyx Web); the set is managed by a unique administration module (Elyx Manager) and integrates a powerful ETL tool for data exchange management (Elyx ETL).

Elyx supports connection to standard database technology(Oracle, PostGIS), and offers a set of web services accessible and extendable by the user. Elyx also supports Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) web services (WMS, WFS …) to allow data sharing and integration such as that required by the INSPIRE directive .

Elyx Office Elyx Office is the GIS expert client, which offers a large set of common GIS functionalities. Elyx Office also exists in a portable configuration for tablet PCs.
Elyx Mobile Elyx Mobile is the Elyx platform solution for PDA devices. It simplifies GIS operations such as data capture in the field.
Elyx Web Elyx Web is the platform thin client, which offers an interface to Elyx functionalities in portlets that can be easily integrated into a portal.
Elyx Manager Elyx manager is the common administration module for the server, the web client and the thick client; it manages data models, users and many other system parameters.
Elyx ETL Elyx ETL is the complete data workflow management module, which allows multi-format data import/export tasks to be prepared and planned.
